Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information is collected and how it is used by quanttradingsystem.ai (the “site”) and by Recovery Desk, a personal desktop tool operated by the site owner (the “app”).
1. This website
The site is a static informational website. It does not use accounts, advertising, or tracking cookies, and it does not run analytics scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.
2. Recovery Desk and Google user data
Recovery Desk connects to Google Drive using Google OAuth 2.0. It requests only the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope, which lets the app see and manage only files that the app itself creates or opens. It cannot see the rest of your Drive.
- What it accesses: only files created by the app within Drive.
- How it is used: solely to provide the app’s single purpose: storing and syncing its own working files.
- Storage: the OAuth token is stored on the user’s own computer. Google user data is not copied to servers operated by quanttradingsystem.ai.
- Sharing: we do not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
- Humans: no one at quanttradingsystem.ai reads your Drive content beyond what the app itself processes on your device.
Recovery Desk’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. Revoking access
You can revoke the app’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the locally stored token file also ends the app’s access.
4. Data retention and deletion
We do not maintain a server-side copy of Google user data, so there is nothing for us to retain. To request deletion of any correspondence we hold, email us.
5. Children
The site and app are not directed to children under 13.
6. Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above will change when we do.
